We love these little pocket’s full of inspiration and during quiet moments instore you will quite often find us flicking through these gorgeous books full of amazing images, an abundance of colour and great ideas. We dont care that we can't read the text (it's all in Japanese) the images are so great words are not needed!

These tiny micro pixies and huge advent calendar pixies from Maileg will bring a bit of seasonal cheer to your home!

We’ve been alarmed by how quickly “The Season” has come around this year, and while it’s not yet time to start panicking, it is time to think about your December Advent countdown!

We think these Maileg Advent Calendars are the best Christmas heirloom around right now. Standing at 145 cm they make quite a statement, their cheeky little smiles and floppy feet will charm you immediately!

Put a lolly, a hair clip, a car or a sticker in each pocket, and the countdown will be full of good behavior (because of course only good kids get their advent treats!) and lots of smiles. Our second shipment of Orla Kiely Bedlinen has just arrived instore. This beautiful bedlinen has caused quite a stir at Small Acorns, and our first delivery sold out of some sizes and styles quicker than we could ever have expected.

The truck arrived at our doorstep this morning, so currently the store is overflowing with those wonderful Multi Stem printed boxes with the beautiful 100 % cotton bedlinen all neatly packed inside. We have just received most of our summer shipment of the always wonderful Djeco kids products in from France. This range is so great and has something to suit most boys and girls, it includes many craft projects such as origami, stamp sets and colouring sets as well as some really cute puzzles (we love the new squirrel with his acorn for obvious reasons!)  and stickers.

Every season I fall in love with the Minti designs, I think they’re the best they’ve ever made but then the next season they outdo themselves! Gosh those Minti / Federation / Little Scruff folks are smart!

Last season it was the “Diamonds in the Sky” and the “All Night Owl” who stole my heart and made me want to give gifts to any child I had ever been introduced to, but this season it’s the “Born Awesome” critter and the embroidered Icey Pop that have me melting (pardon the pun!).

New supersoft Pink Florimund leather and Watteau weave wallets and accessories range from Designers Guild is now available online. While we have had this range instore for a few months, it’s now all available online (sorry I got a bit distracted with a little cushion competition we had going on!).

Minti's 09 Winter range is amazing, I don't think I need to say much more.... but I will! Featuring owls, ponies, charms, sausage dogs, winged diamonds and paper aeroplanes, there is just so much to choose from and the colours are equally as wonderful, including blue, pinks, grey, purple, green and even some black.

The reliable design team at Minti has continued to stay true to their ethos - “would I wear that if I was small?” and has come out with a range that you'll be wishing came in your size too!

We have limited our size range this winter, deciding to stick with the smaller sizes, baby clothing is available in sizes 000-0 which will fit newborns to 12 months, and kids t-shirts and hoodies are available in sizes 2-3.
