There's no advertising, just 160 glorious heavy-stock pages of stories about art, architecture, farming and food that explore what it means to live in regional Australia today. This is not a publication to be read in one sitting.
Issue 2 Contributors include Julie Gibbs, Maggie McKellar, Megan Morton, Tim Ross, Annabelle Hickson, Meg Mason, and many other wonderfully talented writers, photographers and artists.
Galah is a platform for lots of different voices examining the country experience. Editor and Founder, Annabelle Hickson is a writer who takes photos, often of flowers. She lives on a pecan farm with her husband Ed and three children in the Dumaresq Valley on the NSW-Queensland border, Australia.
She is passionate about reading, gardening, growing roses, cooking and a celebrator of the beauty in life. She is the author of A Tree In The House, and a former columnist for Country Style magazine. She also has a wonderful podcast with her friend Gillian Bell, called Dispatch To A Friend.
