As you might imagine, it is difficult to come home empty-handed after a visit to their store. So, when they suggested sending some posters across the ditch to us here in Wellington, naturally we couldn't say yes fast enough.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat does original mean?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eAs their name says Vintage Posters Only \u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003eonly\u003c\/span\u003e deal in original vintage posters – never reproductions!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn poster lingo, the term ‘original’ refers to a poster that’s an authentic, \u003cem\u003efirst-run copy from the time it was created\u003c\/em\u003e, not a reproduction or modern print.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eIn 1964, renowned French poster artist Bernard Villemot created this striking poster for the Floralies Internationales, held from April 24 to May 3 at the Palais de la Défense in Paris.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eEstablished in 1906, the Floralies are annual horticultural exhibitions showcasing flowering plants in different cities. Initially focused on plant displays and garden recreations, they have evolved into cultural and artistic events. Once the maquette was approved, the design was scaled up for full-size printing, typically using lithography.
