The Beginning
After travelling abroad and then returning to her hometown of Adelaide, Emma decided this was her chance to begin building her little brand, her first collection titled Wild Hearts.
Our Journey with Emma began in 2015 at her very first life in style trade show in Melbourne. This was only 6 months after she moved home and already she was showcasing her brand to the world!
Off the back of life in style Emma Kate Co quickly grew and she had 40 new stockists overnight! Small Acorns being one of those very proud first few!

In 2016 not long after the launch of her brand Emma had set her sight on a new goal which was to create a beautiful yearly planner. The perfect addition to her ever growing stationery range.
Of course...the launch of the new Emma Kate Co planners was such a success!
Every year around spring we start to anticipate the arrival of a little Emma Kate Co planner sneak peak in our email inbox. Every time we get a glimpse it is so exciting and I don't know how she manages to make her collections even more beautiful than the last.
Emma's brand aesthetics are always so clearly Emma that everything flows so seamlessly and cohesively, the story, the feel, the colour palette. All so fresh and new but always very true to the brand.

Emma Kate Co Planners have developed such a cult following, and they are always a sell out!
A couple of years ago pre-covid we had the brilliant idea to invite Emma and the lovely Bella over to NZ and to Small Acorns for an in store Emma Kate Co Planner launch of our own!
For me, finally putting faces to the names was so nice and Emma, Bella and the whole team are every bit as lovely as you would think!
We can't wait until you can visit again or perhaps we will come over to you next time!
